Lakshmangarh: On 13 February 2025, the students of Class 12 from government schools in Ramgarh Shekhawati (PM Shri HR Ruhia School and Rajkiya Khemka Higher Secondary School) visited AK College of Hotel Management, Lakshmangarh to gain insights about their future academic and career opportunities.
The educational visit aimed to introduce students to skill-based education. Mr. Fateh Singh (State Officer) and Ms. Deepshikha (Project Officer, Ramgarh) from Pen India NGO explained the objective behind this visit, emphasizing the importance of equipping students with practical knowledge for future career prospects.
Dr. Anupam Sharma, Director of AK College, elaborated on the benefits of pursuing a Hotel Management course. He highlighted that this course not only provides quality education but also opens doors to numerous job opportunities both domestically and internationally. He further mentioned that graduates can find employment across government and private sectors, with ample career growth prospects.
The college follows the guidelines of the New Education Policy and is affiliated with a government-recognized university. Additionally, SC, ST, and SBC category students receive a 100% government scholarship during their course of study.
Ms. Anuradha Sharma, Head of the Institution, extended her heartfelt gratitude to the visiting students, teachers, and organizers for their participation. The event was attended by the college's existing students along with faculty members, including Ms. Shiva Kumari, Ms. Seema, Mr. Ravi, Ms. Poonam Saini, and Ms. Priyanka Sharma.
